Sink The Bismarck (41%) 5/6

SinkTheBThe stakes of exitement are raised in the meeting with this beer. The aroma mostly gives away the enormous strenght, although the smell is not overwhelming at all. At the first sip, the malt provides it’s contribution in terms of caramel, fruityness and hops- LOTS of hops. A grand opening- with a for the tastebuds, violent kick. No bubbles at all (obviously), but definately the taste of an IPA is what one finds here. More like a kind of liquour than what one associates with beer makes this a beer liqour of the finest kind. A liqour for craftbeer hounds, with it’s outstanding taste.
