This brewery has an interesting line of fruity ales, which of I’m familiar with a few. Now, this is a new one though- a wit beer, yellow and lightly mirky in looks. The nose reveals very sweet notes of white tea, sugary pineapple and honey. Lightbodied consistency and nice levels of carbonization. Tastewise, it’s very mild but the aromas previously mentioned are enhanced by notes of banana, rounded off by a fruity easy-going hopped postludium. Nice one, would definately be a hit during summer.
MORT SUBITE «Witte Lambic» (5,5%) 3/6
BIRRIFICIO FIOENTINO «Lager» (5,5%) 4/6
This beer looks absolutely stunning w/regards to appearance; Beautiful yellow colour gives off a refreshing invite. Pours nicely in terms of carbonization, leaving a nice half-inch head (without being overly agressive). As for the nose; nice floral activity going on here, a bit fruity goes especially well
In the heat of summer. Very subtle hints of herbs here too. Now, this leaves us at the exiting stage of the actual taste: very fresh, lightly lemon hints, some hard-to-distinguish flower taste, + even lighter bitterness combined with quite a bit of fizz. Light-bodied. Aftertaste is semi-sweet, crossing over in lightly bitter landscapes at the end.
Lervig/Nøgne Ø «We love wheat» (7,9%) 4/6

Three Floyds «Gumballhead» (5,5%) 3/6

BFM «La Salamandre» (6,3%) 3/6

Nøgne Ø «Whiter shade of pale» (5%) 2/6
Nose is lemon and green apple of the spring, though subtle. The colour is light-yellow, very «clean». Easy hoppy start that balances quite smoothly on the verge of bitterness, all the while. Quite light-bodied, and the actual fruittaste could have lingered a bit longer- however, the bitterness lasts. Still, quite light- both in texture and in taste-span. A bit too weak, actually- but probably fine for easy summer beverage.
Haandbryggeriet «Bavarian Weizen» (5,5%) 3/6
This wheat beer’s aroma is first and foremost smelling of wheat and subtly, fruity. Quite mild in terms of hoppyness, although lightly bitter. Nice sweetness from the fruit and medium bodied.
